 | Tomo Mog: | She must mean me, 'cause I'm the cutest. |

| Tomo Mog: | Yeah, I guess so. |

| Butch Mog: | I was just wondering, how come your ears are so round and so low? |

| Tomo Mog: | Because sometime between the time she drew you and the time she drew us, Anj forgot that moogles are supposed to have kitty ears, not bear ears. What a dumbass! |

| Butch Mog: | Oh well. You're still cute. |

| Tomo Mog: | Ain't it the truth! |

| Butch Mog: | I meant her. |
 | Chiyo Mog: | Eh? Me? |

| Yomi Mog: | (snickers) |

| Tomo Mog: | (glares at Chiyo Mog) |
 | Kagura Mog: | You're a little odd for a moogle yourself. |

| Butch Mog: | Howso? I'm the epitome of moogleness. |

| Kagura Mog: | How come your head bobble thingy is fuzzy? |

| Butch Mog: | Anj thought it was cute. Besides, can you prove that it's not supposed to be fuzzy? |

| Kagura Mog: | Well, it's always depicted as smooth in official Final Fantasy art.* |

| Butch Mog: | But so are moogles' bodies, and everyone understands that we're supposed to be furry. |

| Kagura Mog: | Okay, then. How about this? The head bobble thing is supposed to glow sometimes. How can something fuzzy glow? |
 | Butch Mog: | Watch. (glows) |
 | Osaka Mog: | Ooh! (follows the movements of Butch Mog's head bobble thing with her eyes, then reaches up to bat at it) |

| Butch Mog: | (huskily) Don't touch my head bobble unless you mean it. (leers) |
 | Sakaki Mog: | (silently picks up Osaka Mog and moves her safely away from Butch Mog) |

| Butch Mog: | Hey, you're pretty strong. I have an appreciation for strong moogles. What are you doing tonight? |
 | Kaorin Mog: | (grabs Sakaki Mog's arm) She's mine! Mine! Mine! Get away! (hisses) |

| Sakaki Mog: | . . . . |

| Yomi Mog: | Er, anyway. It all seems to boil down to Anj not being able to draw a normal looking moogle, right? |

| Chiyo Mog: | That's it exactly! You have no idea how close I came to having a tail! I'm glad she stopped herself before she inked that in! |

| Tomo Mog: | What kind of tail? |

| Chiyo Mog: | A little fluffy bunny tail. |

| Sakaki Mog: | . . . . (blushes, covers mouth, shakes slightly) |

| Butch Mog: | So, anyway, anyone wanna come back to my apartment for a while? |

| Tomo Mog: | Do you have cookies? |

| Butch Mog: | Oh, yeah. I have all kinds of goodies. |

| Yomi Mog: | (drags Tomo Mog by the scruff of the neck) Look at the time! I think we'd better be going! (all other Azumoogles follow) |

| Butch Mog: | (sighs) Alone again, naturally. |
 | Chocomog: | (tugs on her wingtip) |
|
| Butch Mog: | You don't count. You're a boy. |
|
| Chocomog: | (whispers) |

| Butch Mog: | Why yes, I do think Hello Kitty would look awfully cute with bat wings and a head bobble. I think we've got some recruiting to do. Maybe we can get her sister Mimmy, so we could each have one. |

*Note that this dialogue, along with the pictures of Butch Mog and the Azumoogles, dates to 2003, before I played Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and long, long before Final Fantasy XII. FFTA and FFXII transformed the moogle as we knew it into something much more bunny-like, with long ears and an unquestionably fuzzy pom-pom. I am aware of this, but I'm not changing the dialogue. Consider it a snapshot in moogle evolution. ^_^ (Back to where you left off.)
