Video Gaming Questionnaire

When I think of women video gamers I think that's totally awsome. I have some one else to hang out and play video games with. When men, however, make it hard for us women to play and show off our skills it's a different story. Women gamers are looked at too often as ugly or a dumb blonde playing to try to get a date with a guy.

Game Designers are mostly men so they put out games that have women in skimpy outfits and big boobs and small waists. I'm sorry but our waists can't be that small (or at least the majority of us). Now that we are starting to work in the Technology field we are starting to tell those guys that there are women gamers and that you need to appeal to them as well. My only question is how long and how far can we go to prove to men that we aren't just a piece of meat but that we are ready to go on gaming dates where we eat pizza and play Halo 2 online and get talked about.

In my next few pages I will be discussin my point of view and tell you that not all gamer girls are "just playing for a date" but are playing because they love it and that some of us gamer girls are tired of seeing the use of us as meat with big boobs and small waist.

As I am writing this I am doing a random chat room questioning that I will post on a separate page as well as summary of my findings with male gamers. I will try to speak with a female gamer but with guys being majority I can at least find out what's on their minds with female gamers.
