The mass production version of the RX-75-4 Guntank, the Guntank MPT was the same except for a few features. First, the Core Block system was removed, allowing for movement of the torso. Secondly, the cannons were of a universal design which allowed other weapons (or tools) to be used in their place. A few units were assigned to the Kojima Batallion in Southeast Asia which were instrumental in the defeat of the Zeon base.
