Designed to be a superior replacement for the MS-06F Zaku, the Gouf was better armed and could do more damage to
the enemy with its multitude of weapons. Tested by ace pilot Ranba Ral, the B-type Gouf quickly replaced the less equipped MS-07A Gouf. However, production was halted when the MS-09 Dom was rolled out. Even though it was
phased out of production and hardly used, many veteran pilots and high ranking officials had custom made versions created for their personal use.
