Below you'll find links to some of my favorite places to vist.

Sizzling Jalfrezi is a great HTML reference site. They have almost every HTML tag listed, along with extra parameters, examples, and good explanations for almost everything. There's help on Tables, Frames, and other special stuff. Sorry, but there's no help for Java or Javascript, those topics are too broad and complicated, I suppose. But if you want to learn everything about basic HTML, check this place out!

There are billions of pages on the internet. How do you find the one you want? If you're me, you go to Google and type in a few keywords. It's like Yahoo, only better. It doesn't try to be all things to all people, it's just really fast at finding good results. Billions and billions served. Try searching for "goofy guy pictures".

Google: http://www.google.com/

With PVRs becoming the new home appliance that people want to have, here's a place that is working on an open source version that you can build yourself. I'm going to work on building one of these myself when I get some time. It's based on Linux, and seems to have lots of modules and options. Cool stuff!

MythTV: http://www.mythtv.org/
If you like putting your old computer hardware to good use, consider turning an old computer into a firewall/router. One place you can get some free (open source) linux-based firewall software that's pretty full featured is at IPCop.

Glide Underground. It's a place with lots of tech news, mostly gaming related, but not exclusively that. I go there just to get a recap of what's going on, and the simple layout keeps me coming back. Go Now!

Slashdot. What can I say about this? If you don't know what it is, think of it as the "cool" place on the internet for geeks. They have some relevant/interesting stuff, but every day it looks more like an anti-microsoft page for linux.

If you are getting excited about the new Star Wars movies, and would like to have new stuff to look at all the time, check out starwars.countingdown.com. As the name suggests, they "count down" to a lot of big events, so check out their main page as well. Pretty Spiffy.

I really love the Simpsons, it's one of those shows that doesn't lose its originality. It's had it's ups and downs, but I still tune in every week (if I'm not too busy with school). This is the best site I've found so far, so be sure to check it out!

The Simpsons Archive: http://www.snpp.com/

Here's the obligatory Star Wars link.

One place I like is the Dilbert homepage, the archives are great for days you may have missed. Also, they now have a vast amount of 3D VRML comics, as well as Shockwave ones which all seem to be based on old strips.
