The Future of Nanotechnology:
The future of nanotechnology has already been mapped out. Nanotechnology is being compared to Henry Ford's assembly line. Nanogears will eventually replace all other manufacturing processes. Industry is expected to rise one trillion dollars  thanks to nanotechology. However, nanotechnology will or will not be a success based on its output of commercial products. Right now, a key supporter of nanotechnology is large corporations. These corportations must be the main contributer to the nanofield in order for this to be a success in the future. As for private researchers, another supporter, the future will contain a situation in which they will share their new discovery for profit or hold on to their newly developed concept, to keep as their own. Also, people are beginning to raise the question on whether or not this process is ethical. Some feel distorting atoms/molecules is morally wrong.  I feel nanotechnology is a wonderful science and that we should continue to support and practice in the nanofield. Nanotechnology contributes to society and improves existing products.
