Signs and Symptoms
Symptoms:

Memory loss (1st loss of short-term memory and 2nd loss of long-term memory)

Loss of judgment/reasoning

Behavioral changes

Communication difficulties

Confusion with names

Difficulty with basic math

Difficulty with speech

Agressive nature

External cause (i.e. pneumonia) will kill someone with AD
Three Catagories of Signs and Symptoms:
Aphasia - lost ability to articulate ideas
Disorientation - ability to get lost
Dishinibition - loss of inhibition
