Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome, but we can’t guarantee that somebody will have free time to do a tattoo. Generally it is best to set up an appointment with the artist of your choice, especially for tattoos that will take more than an hour or two.

How do I book an appointment?

The best way to set up an appointment is to message your preferred artist on instagram. For more information about contacting the artists you can visit our Contact page.

How much does it cost?

Artists charge per hour, and each artists in the shop has a different hourly rate. They range from $120 to $200 an hour for the artists at The Zion Tattoo Company. There is a shop minimum of $80 to cover the cost of materials, and the time it takes for the artist to draw the design and set up their station. Any tattoos taking longer than an hour will be charged the hourly rate, and the shop minimum will be applied to that cost.

When setting up an appointment the artists will typically take a deposit of $80. When you come in for your appointment the full amount of the deposit will be subtracted from the cost of your tattoo.

How do I get a price quote?

The best way to get a price quote is to set up a consultation with an artist and come in to talk with them so that they are able to estimate the size of the tattoo, and the time needed more accurately.

What forms of payment are accepted?

All artists accept cash or credit cards.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?

In Utah you can get a tattoo at 18, but with the consent of a parent a minor can get a tattoo at 16.
