ICUIN 6320: Technology in the Classroom is designed to inform and promote appropriate and effective technology use in elementary and secondary Classrooms. Course competencies range from developing online communication strategies, evaluating and integrating electronic resources into school curriculum, and using technology to become more efficient and confident in the management of a twenty-first century classroom. Through the varied technology modeled and explored in this course, students will glimpse first-hand how to integrate technology into the curriculum and develop skills and products that can be used immediately in current or future classrooms.

The Marco Polo web-site is a program that provides a no no-cost, standards-based Internet content for the
K-12 teacher and classroom , developed by the nations content experts.

  
 
The New York Times Learning Network is a link that provides valuable information for students in grades 3-12, teachers, and parents.  Here the student can access many of thesame topics as the other web sites. They are able to engage in quizzes and have them copiedfor instructors to grade.  Parents can give thier feed-back as well. 
    The
Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators is a site primarily for the educator.  It has links to almost every topic available.  There is also a section where one can e-mail Kathy.

     The
Texas Education Agency or TEKS website contains  information that is needed with regards to schooling. It includes linkls for students, teachers, parents, and administrators. Some links include topics suchas Today's News, School Law and Rules, Curriculum and Assessment, Educational Programs, School Data,  Accountability.  There are also links where one is able to e-mail agency members. 

   For the Spanish Teacher there is an World Language Regions-
Espanole web-site.  Everything about the Spanish and for teachers and students is available, including AP language test resources, a dedication to the AP test readers, learning activities, and a special section for Hispanic Americans.  This is the headquarters for the  Lengua Espanola.
