Telefiieldtrips involve information-collection and -analysis activities that help students experience telepresence.  They are  a popular online project that can open virtual doors to field experiences that even the wealthiest and most urban students would not be able to have.  There are two variations of this project.  Inm the first stidents take a fieldtrip and share their experiences with others who have the same interests.  The most popular is the second type is a virtual expedition.  Here adults research scientific relationships or historical sites and online participants are invited to take the expedition.
    
Virtual China In this website, groups of students visited China and recorded their experiences through  both e-mail and a question form.  Each team focused on different aspect of the Chinese people and their culture.  They shared their photos, itineraries, and e-mails.
