The site presents unknown paintings, which still have not been shown either in exhibitions or in catalogues. A section of the site is dedicated to a peculiar genre, born from the artist's research of carefully selected photographs worked out with oil colours. Here the acquaintance with Nanni's characthers is intense, powerful, fresh and mature at the same time. Instead of "creating" a new figure, Nanni takes possession of Schiele's, Mahler's, Berg's or Webern's images, enlarging or reducing their photographs, twisting the features and the expressions. Characters are brought back to life using vivid colours and giving prominence to matter, renewing ancient glances with intese and imaginific scratches.
