A 1987 Luger Boats catalog was the source of some model data on this website. I have several unused copies, if anyone would like one. To help defray costs, I thought $5 an issue would not be too excessive (that includes postage). The Luger Yachts website is a reference website for Luger powerboats. It is a new website, created as an extension of The Luger Boats newtork. Luger Industries began their 35 year reign as "The World's Largest manufacturer of Kit Boats" in 1952 with powerboat kits. Since the company's reputation and longevity was primarily due to the success of their powerboat kits, it seemed natural to create a website dedicated to the runabouts, cruisers, houseboats and yachts of Luger.
I do not mean to misrepresent myself as an authority - I am only a Luger sailboat owner with an opportunity to share the information I have compiled while doing research for The Luger Sailboat Mooring (www.lugerboats.com). The data on www.lugeryachts.com has been researched before publication - nevertheless, I cannot be held responsible for incorrect or misleading information. Content is provided solely as a helpful guide.
I welcome help, and encourage suggestions about this site. If you are aware of an error, please bring it to my attention. Luger Yachts website is a "resource extension" of my flagship website, The Luger Sailboat Mooring.
