40' Sunliner - Luger's Houseboat Yacht The Sunliner was the largest boat manufactured by Luger Industries. Their 1964 catalog described it as having, "every luxury and convenience for gracious family living and entertaining afloat."

Sunliner's Split-Level arrangement had 330 sq. feet of interior living space, plus an expansive 495 sq. feet of additional outdoor luxury. The hull could be ordered as molded fiberglass, 12 gauge steel or 3/4" plywood. The hull could be purchased in 12 gauge steel, fiberglass, or 3/4" marine fir plywood (fiberglass covered with internal oak frame). Cost? If purchased during Luger's 1964 Spring Sale, the "steel hull" model sold for only $4,995.

22' Vacationaire - Houseboat Cruiser Luger's Vacationaire houseboat, with V-bottom planing hull, sleeps four in the cabin - or more on seats or floor in the rear cockpit. When lightly loaded, Vacationaire can plane with an outboard motor as small as 50 HP. The houseboat's ample foredeck was 90" wide by 50" long; and boasted a spacious 94" x 80" after deck.

Power Requirements: Outboard: 15 to 45 HP will provide speeds to 10 mph with adequate control. 50 HP will plane a lightly loaded Vacationaire. Inboard-Outboard: 150 I/O HP will tow several skiers, have top speed of approximately 35 mph and will plane boats when heavily loaded.

22' Holiday - Houseboat Cruiser Similar to Luger's Vacationaire houseboat, The Holiday model extended its indoor area into the after deck, allowing sleeping accommodations for six people and comfortable living space and storage for extended cruising. An ample after deck (30" x 88") was still available for observation or storage, and the 13.5' x 7.5' cabin had 6' 7" of headroom.
