| The Dark Muffins do Neko-con |
| Nekocon Flash! was our first convention as the Dark Muffins. It was also our first cosplay. The cosplay was entitled, "In the Beginning," and was a dramatic retelling of Alexiel's backstory from Angel Sanctuary. "In the Beginning" featured a pretty big cast on a very tiny stage, and was set to the song, "Messiah," from the AS sountrack. We all had a great time, and discovered that cosplay is fun, despite hours of rehearsals, personal injury, and waiting in line for hours in six-inch platform heeled boots. |

| Here's our picture, taken after the cosplay on my little disposable camera. It's bad quality, I know, but try to ignore it. Its purpose here is to introduce the cast, which it does quite well, with a few exceptions. |
