Setsuna walks on stage, holding the Seven-Bladed Soul Sword, confused as to the images in his head. "What's happening to me?" he asks. "I don't understand."

In Setsuna's memories: Rosiel leads Baby Alexiel out, revealing their identities to the audience. He caresses her, then strips her of her heavenly robes and slaps her, sending her down into the underworld in shame.

Alexiel finds allies in Hell, the fallen angels Lucifer and the Mad Hatter. Here, "Hallelujah, salvation, glory and the power belongs to God!" Alexiel longs for God's forgiveness.

The Hatter and Lucifer help Alexiel achieve her true form (aka, it's time for a costume change, so we're leading her to the far side of the stage).

And to distract the audience from the costume change, the adorable demon-child Kurai skips happily on stage, without a care in the world. At least, until....
...Rosei's chief minion, Catan, spots her. Angels and Demons are enemies, so Catan figures he can do his side a favor and take out the genki demon girl. He chases her through Hell, only narrowly missing killing her.

Left: Kurai's in a pretty tight pinch!

At least, it seems that way until Alexiel reveals her true form! Lucifer gives her the Seven-Bladed Soul Sword, which she quickly uses to dispatch Catan, and to defeat Rosiel, who isn't very pleased to find his minion destroyed.

Enter Uriel, an archangel in love with the organic angel Alexiel. He asks her to love him, but she scorns him, deciding to love no one if God will not love her again. Uriel doesn't take too kindly to rejection, so he strips Alexiel of her wings and curses her.

Preparing for the final pose. "Hallelujah." The mental image of Setsuna wanders through the odd cast of characters acting out Alexiel's torment in his head, and he comes to realize that this is HIS past; he is the reincarnation of Alexiel, and doomed to die tragically for love. Not a pretty life, is it?
