My Activities

Many activities means busy, but it will never happen if we enjoy our work. I have many activities, both at school and out of school. At school time, of course I’m studying inside the classroom with the teacher. Sometimes I feel boring but I realize that I need it. Different from most of the school in Indonesia, we have our school activities only until Friday. On Saturday, we have jogging, gymnastic and sport club. I don’t really like sport so I choose gymnastic club because it’s appropriate for girl it will not make me tired. The other club that I have is PMR (Palang Merah Remaja). Why I choose this club is because I like to learn about how to take care somebody when they need.

Outside of school, we have some activities like CAS (Community and Service), PTL (Pathway to Leadership), Camp, and many other. CAS is the program that we do for the community around us. There are many things that we do such clean up the market, English teaching for elementary school, go to orphanage, and do the socialization. I really like this because I can see how the condition of the people outside is. Similar with CAS, PTL is also the program that we made for community, but we need to create something new that needed by the people around. We do it in groups that we choose the member by ourselves with one advisor that will guide us.

Camp is the most awesome thing that I have done in my life. The camp is not for having fun but to create our character. The practice was really hard because we did it with the Air Force. We did it for three days and we lived in the jungle. Many things that we have done such made the tent, cooked by our group with a very simple equipment, learnt how to use compass (I don’t understand about this), hiking for around 3 hours when the sun was shining very bright so many of us was sick. However I never regret to join this because it help me to survive in many conditions.
