If you've visited my site's various sections sequentially and then finally got here, I'd like to thank you for your patience. Even if you were only browsing and hit on this page, I still thank you. As a token of appreciation, I'd like to introduce you to some sites that you may find useful or interesting or both. Without more ado, they are:
Here's the place where you can spend some quiet time:
Here are the two Ding-a-Lings who remain as the third has disappeared since this page was first set up:
Pei's alter egos I've opened the following section which is in gratitude to all those "web" friends who have given me encouragement one way or another. Pride of place goes to Pauline or Kucinta to whom I first turned for help to get into the fun of the New Economy. She showed me the ropes. Better still, she gave me a book all about HTML, the 3.2 version. Unfortunately, Ku's site is now more: or at least she hasn't given me the url of her latest version (if she has one). But one part of her still reposes on this site. So do go read her at her most sensitive. Next is Daniel who suggested I used tables instead of frames and at once opened a new possibility which I hadn't realised existed. Find him at his homepage where there is always something about food or food for thought. Then there is Kelvin who gave me a whole new perspective with one suggestion:"i would suggest making your pages not go beyond 2 levels down... a link in a link in a link would make people lose interest in surfing ... similarly ...a direct link keeps people interested in reading on :" His March email made me decide to re-do my front-page right away. Thanks Kel! And his noodle pot continues to bubble over with ideas! The latest to this list is Catherine to whom I want to say how much I appreciate her publicising my no-beef account. Well, Catherine isn't the last link, as it turned out. For more good and fun Singapore websites, make a bee-line for Lazy Juice. Talking of Singaporean websites, I must surely include the newly launched People's Action Party website. Love or hate the PAP, but which Singaporean alive today doesn't want to keep an eye on the party which governs our country? Yuan Heng is one young Singaporean who kindly gave me a permanent link on his web site -- the first one -- and without my solicitation too. For that, I wish to record my thanks and provide a reciprocal link right here to his new site. Sure, these "destinations" are not resorts in the way we think of Bali as a "resort". But in the end, they provide so much inspiration and relaxation (true only of some websites linked) that it's no misnomer to think of them as resorts. After all, don't we go to Bali to relax and be inspired?
Come back again, often, as I shall explore and share with you new places where I "linger awhile and leave with a smile" and then go back repeatedly, like a plant drawn to sunshine.
