Going back to school to become a nurse?
Here's some information about how I did it....
I am a 26 year old male attending college in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I decided to go back to school after 8 years of working full time. Like most students, I wanted to make a better life for myself. I chose nursing as my degree because I have always been interested in the healthcare field. I felt that nursing would best suit my desire to help others.I have put a little information on this site that I feel would be useful for others wanting to go back to school to pursue a nursing degree.
The City Of Albuquerque
I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico from Las Vegas, Nevada. One reason was because Albuquerque has a great educational system for those interested in the healthcare field.I also needed to get away from the tempations of the Las Vegas lifestyle that hindered my education. Albuquerque is a pretty big city, yet it has a very small town feel.I have been here for about a year now and I love it here. Albuquerque has a mild climate with all four seasons. It is a great place to attend school because it is easy to sustain a focus here. I currently attend Albuquerque TVI Community college and am transferring to the University of New Mexico next year.
