Roger has been playing drums since he was eight years old, and began performing in local bands when he was fourteen. He's a veteran of several popular western New York groups, including Infinity and Local Heroes. These days, in addition to his work with Lucky Number, he is frequently seen on the "Late Night With David Letterman" show...in the audience.

Often referred to as the "Human Metronome", Roger possesses a very unique and aggressive percussive style; he routinely wears through several sets of sticks in the course of one performance.

While he freely acknowledges that he is probably the root cause of most of the personnel changes the band has seen over the years, Roger feels that his place with Lucky Number is secure: "I own the equipment truck."
