| Thank you for visiting us!
Pictured here are Dennis & MoonFlower, Jessi & Angel, and in front are Emylei and her doe, Neon Moon. The Lucky Hook Dairy Farm started out in 1980. The herd started with a single Nubian doe then changed to Alpines in 1982. The herd has always been one of show animals bred for milk production and structural correctness. 2006 celebrated many things for us including the building and opening of The Lucky Hook Grade A Goat Dairy. Other animals that reside here at The Lucky Hook Farm are 40+ cows and calves, 2 horses, 3 dogs and 3 cats. Dennis and Jessi decided to put together their two farms in 2004. Dennis already had the cattle and one horse when Jessi's 'goats and company' were added to his farm in Moses Lake, Washington. Dennis took a special liking to the doe he calls "Champ" in the picture and Jessi took a special liking to one of his cows, "#2". She is black and the cow version of "Champ". Emylei raised 'Neon' on the bottle and is special to us all. Jessi has shown her goats extensively since 1984. In 2003, 2004, 2005 the does were shown and brought home 5 Best In Show awards, along with many Championships. Linear Appraisal, an ADGA program that evaluates dairy goats on a scale of 0 to 100% of the ideal, was especially exciting in 2003, 2005 & 2006 with All of our mature does scoring 90% and above. Although we still love to show our goats we only make it out to one open show and one fair per year now. With the farm and the milking machine business together with Dennis's full time job, there just isn't enough time to do it all. You may contact us via e-mail: [email protected] |
