By birth, I am Michelle Alegado Barouis Balberona. I was born on the 28th of July, 1985 in the little elevated place of Sitio Pundol, Barangay Guadalupe here in Carcar, Cebu, Philippines. I sprouted from the love of my parents, Leodegario Alegado Balberona and Evangeline Cueme Barouis. My father is from my place of birth while my mother is from Felis, Palalan, Malita, Davao del Sur. (If how they met, I'll tell you someday! (",))... I spent my early childhood in Davao del Sur since my family moved there when I was a month old. then we came back here in Cebu when I was four. I have three brothers namely Jimson, Jovel, and Jariel. i also have a sister whose name is Cecille. At present my brothers' ages are 15, 9 and 7 respectively. My sister is 12. In the June of 1991, my mama enrolled me in grade 1 in Michaela Mercado School now maximina V. Barangan Elementary School) in our place nearby. It was then the satellite school of Upland Elementary School. It was in UES where I attended my grades3 and 4. When I was in grade 5, I was enrolled in UES still, but then it was at that time when Maximina V. Barangan was added grade 5. So I took pains in convincing my mama that I would transfer to MVBES. After the race, I won an finished my elementary years in Maximina V. Barangan Elementary School. After a long race, I got the chance to grab the awards and brightest colors. I'll be glad to share them to you. Here they are: Grade 1-- First Honors Grade 2-- First Honors Grade 3-- Third Honors Grade 4-- Third Honors Grade 5-- First Honors Grade 6-- First Honors -- Outstanding Girl scout Award -- Best In Science Award In my highschool, I am an alumna of Carcar Academy. I graduted last March 2002. It was in that institution where I have learned the many struggles of life, to be determined and to persevere... After all it didn't matter how many times I fell down, what did was how many times I got up and gain the fruits of my victory. At present I am a second year Information technology student of Southwestern University here in Villa Aznar, Urgello St., Cebu City. Since I do not come from a well to do family, I am striving hard with the aid of a scholarship, granted by the Department of Science and Technology. Since I was in third year high, I was so inspired by the poetry that I read my literature book. Since then I was inspired to make my own poetry, to reward my curiosity and to expand my imagination. When friends knew that I am into poetry, they would ask me to make one or two for them. I enjoy listening to R 'n B music so much. They are my passion! And i also like love songs, those that touches you from within... I am into strolling with friends wherever the wind may take us to...
