Amber is OK outdoors, but she would just as soon be inside reading. She LOVES reading. She likes to fish and ride a bicycle and climb trees. She likes to play basketball and softball too. She played right field on her softball team this past year. Because of her size and strength she will bear watching through the "major" leauges, if she doesn't play ball for her middle school instead. She should be a home-run hitter either way!
Amber doesn't watch much TV either, she would rather read and listen to music. She's reading alot. Her goal is to break the school record of 3 million words this school year. She likes to play cards, especially Rummy, and she's learning to play Rook really well. Amber who's 12 has been being beat-up by Alexis who's 8 for about 6 years now. One of these days, she is gonna' lose it and Alexis will take a pounding! Amber has very thick auburn hair. She is very active in church. She plays the handbells and is in the youth drama group and the ensamble. She is also involved in a youth Bible study.
She's a middle school honor roll student. And based on her End of Grade test scores last year, the school is having her, and a few other members of the 7th grade, take the SAT's, normally administered to high school juniors and seniors, this December. We'll see how that turns out. Family betting is a score better that 50% of the juniors taking the same test. By the way her score on her pre-test was 1100 plus out of a perfect 1600. Way to go Amber!
