Alexis is Daddy's "little boy," and the term tomboy has her picture in the dictionary. Like her dad, she stays outdoors as much as possible. She LOVES it. She likes to fish too, but doesn't have enough patience yet! She likes to ride a bicycle and climb trees. She's also an early riser and has been known to be outside climbing trees a 6:00 AM. She will play with her dolls outside for hours at a time if you let her. She likes to play basketball and softball too. She played both 2nd base and 3rd base on her softball team this past year. Because of her speeed she will bear watching when she gets to the "major" leauges and can steal.
Alexis doesn't watch much TV, its like fishing, you have to be still for too long. She does like to read and listen to music. She's been reading Beverly Cleary's books recently along with the Nancy Drew mysteries. She is a huge Jeff Gordon NASCAR fan, like daddy. She likes to play cards, especially Rummy, and she's learning to play Rook. Right now her bidding is scary!
Alexis is 8 and has been beating on Amber who's 12 for about 6 years. One of these days Sis will get tired of it. She has strawberry blonde hair. She is very active in church. She plays handbells in the church choir and has GA's. She's an elementary school honor roll student. And her goal is to hurry and get to middle school so she can break Amber's reading word count record!
