Mr. Red
A true symbol of Reds basebell, Mr. Red is the original member of the Reds entertainment group. Recognized across the nation as one of the league's premier mascots, Mr. Red will be entertaining guests at Great American Ball Park with a renewed commitment to cheering the team to victory.

Gapper
Introduced in the 2003 season with the opening of Great American Ball Park, Gapper got his name from a contest held at Redsfest 2002 where fans could submit a name for their new mascot. Over 6,000 names were submitted and the name "Gapper" was finally decided upon from one of the entries. Gapper's name comes from the space, or "gap", in the upper deck seating between home plate and third base which allows people to view the park from downtown.
