I am currently attending classes at Harford Community College here in MD. The course encompasses more then 250 hours of training under a 16 year veteran of the nail industry.
We learn sanitation, proper chemical procedures, safety and superb polishing and enhancement services for hands and feet.
In May after completion of the required number of hours and education topics, I will attend state board exams to obtain my license. I already have a job offer for once I have my license but I am happy to do housecalls or private services.
I love the industry and my job as a nail technician. I plan on attending more educational classes by an industry giant, Creative Nail Design. I will post more on that subject as it happens. |
