| May 08 Lucinda is currently on leave from the Australian Ballet. She is expecting her first child in July. Congratulations to Lucinda and her husband Danilo Radojevic! 09/01/05: The Australian Ballet returns to the Australian Ballet Centre on the 19th of January to start rehearsals for the 2005 season. Lucinda is in the '12 months of tutus' calander, which you can get from the Australian Ballet Site. We are also a year old. Thank you to everyone who has come to this site, with out you, there would be no site! 9/12: The Australian Ballet is completing the 2004 season in Sydney with �Red Hot & New� (6th December � 22nd December) and then will have a 3 week break before returning to work on the 2005 season. Lucinda is still dancing the role of Lise with Matthew Lawerence as Colas, Colin Peasley as Widow Simone, Matthew Donnelly as Alain, Angus Woodyard as Thomas and the Cockerell role is played by Remi Wortmeyer, Ch� McMahon and Jia Yin Du. Lucinda will be dancing on the Wednesday 10th (Wortmeyer as the Cockerell), Saturday 13th (Evening with McMahon), Wednesday 17th (Du) Saturday 20th (Mat with Du) and Tuesday 23rd (McMahon). New reviews and pictures up. 28/09: The Australian Ballet is currently in Melbourne working on a Gala Performance (29 October) their next performances: "La fille mal gard�e" (Sydney, 10-29 November) and "Southern Lights" (Perth 17-20 November). The 2005 Season has been announced: Graeme Murphy�s Swan Lake (Brisbane) , La Sylphide (Melbourne, Sydney ), White (Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne) Jir� (Melbourne, Sydney) Stanton Welch's The Sleeping Beauty (Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney) Bodytorque two (Sydney) and performed by the West Australian Ballet La Boh�me (Melbourne). The Australian Ballet will also be going to England to perform Graeme Murphy's Swan Lake, and to Denmark for Wild Swans. 04/09: Sadly Lucinda didn't win the Helpmann Award. | 19/07: Congratulations to Lucinda who has been nominated for "Best Female Dancer in a Ballet or Dance Work" in the 2004 Helpmann Awards for her role in "The Four Temperaments". Lucinda is up against Madeleine Eastoe (Romeo and Juliet), Katherine Griffiths (Underland) and Larissa McGowan (Held). 06/07: The Australian Ballet are in Melbourne working on their upcoming ballets 'La fille mal gard�e' (Melbourne 26 Aug to 6 September) and 'Red Hot & New' (Melbourne 10-21 September). The week commencing on the 12th of July is their mid-year break 22/06: Brisbane's "La Fille mal gard�e" casting has gone up. Lucinda will only be dancing on the opening night. Matthew Lawrence (just promoted to principal) will be dancing Colas with her again, Angus Woodyard remains Thomas, and Remi Wortmeyer continues as the Cockerell. Colin Peasley will be Widow Simone, and Tim Harbour will be Alain. Other casts can be seen here. Part of the Australian Ballet will be in Brisbane doing La Fille, while the other part will be staying in Melbourne with "Southern Lights" 27/05: Casting for the Melbourne season of "Swan Lake" is up. Lucinda will be dancing the baroness on June 5 (Matt), June 9 (Evening) and June 12 (Mat). Odette will be played by Amber Scott, and Prince Siegfried by Matthew Lawrence. View the rest of the casting here. I'll be seeing Lucinda dance on the 5th. 19/05: Casting for the Adelaide season of "La Fille mal gard�e" (The Girl runs wild). Lucinda will be dancing the role of Lise on the 22nd of May and Wednesday the 26th. Other cast members include Matthew Lawrence as Colas, Mark Kay (AB's Ballet Master and Choreologist) as Widow Simone, Matthew Donnelly as Alain, Angus Woodyard as Thomas and Remi Wortmeyer as the Cockerell. One other cast has Madeleine Eastoe (Lise), Marc Cassidy (Colas), David McAllister (Widow Simone) Tim Harbour (Alain) and the thrid has Rachel Rawlins (Lise), Campbell McKenzie (Colas), Colin Peasley (Widow Simone) and Marc Cassidy (Alain). All casts have Angus Woodyard as Thomas and Remi Wortmeyer as the Cockerell. 20/04: Casting for Swan Lake (Sydney) is up, Lucinda will be dancing the Baroness once again on the 29th of April, 3rd, 6th, 8th (mat) and the 14th of May. She will be dancing with Matthew Lawrence as Prince Siegfried, Elisha Willis (on loan from the Birmingham Royal Ballet ) as Odette and Mark Summerbell will be conducting. Best of Luck to Lucinda. I recently saw this cards, and they are beautiful! 13/04: The Australian Ballet is currently in Sydney performing 'Mr B' - ending 21st April. They are also rehearsing Graeme Murphy's 'Swan Lake' to start in Sydney on 27 April. For those who are wondering, Odette will be played by Elisha Willis an ex AB soloist who played the part last year. This is only fo the Sydney season. 18/01: Casting for "Mr B - A Tribute to George Balanchine" (Adelaide) has gone up. Lucinda will be dancing every night. She will be dancing: Serenade: Principal* Agon: Principal* Symphony in C: 1st Movement, Principal* (* = This is what the AB called the role, as I have never seen these ballets I am unsure if they have 'proper names' I will change them the day after I see the ballet if they do.) 17/01: The Australian Ballet dancers are back at the ballet center getting ready to open the season with "Mr B".
