Carmilla is once again revived in this sequel to The Vampire Lovers. The film opens in 1830, the vampire Count Karnstein abducts a peasant girl and uses her blood to revive Carmilla. Set within an exclusive girls� school, Carmilla is now reincarnated as a beautiful young student, under the anagram name Mircalla. She soons terrorizes the young girls of the school who have an affinity for prancing around in flimsy gowns. The lesbianism undertone soon becomes apparent when Mircalla�s roommate Susan makes sexual advances upon Mircalla, to the detrimental and fatal mistake of Susan. This scene culminates in an erotic if not deadly situation. Passing through the area is a handsome man, Richard, who soon falls in love with Mircalla. There he meets another teacher who upon discovering of her vampiric ways, the man, Giles, begs to be made into a vampire too but is instead killed by Mircalla. Although, Richard appears on screen to �save� his beloved Mircalla, she takes no interest. She desires instead to continue her vampiric ways with the young girls of the school.
