Invent Your Own Writing Technology: I had to
write a "text" of 20 words or smaller on any subject that uses "technologies"
found in nature, around where I live, or that I could create. This essay
is a summary of my adventure through this task.
Traditional Writing vs. Electronic Writing Style:
This is an essay that focuses on a particular "element" or "rule" of style
that exists in both traditional "paper" style texts and "electronic" style
text. I compared and contrasted the use of my selected element of style in
the two different forms of text.
Online Community Discourse and Style: I had to pick
a newsgroup on Google and follow it
for about a month. This essay is a reaction to the discussion board, evaluating
the formalness of language, slang used, subjects discussed, and so on.
Website Revision: This essay outlines the alterations
I made to my website and the reasons behind my decisions.
