Wood Lily

Wood Lily

What I know:
 Not much
They come up each year (some years there are more than others).
Single stalk, single flower, around 3' high.
Are growing in a medium shade, no real direct sunlight.
They also seem to do better the year after I put down a thick winter mulch of shredded leaves.
Discovered just recently that the bulbs can be as deep as 6"-8".
I have it on good authority that they were once native to this area, but are very difficult to find around now.
They produce a fair amount of seed each year, but the number of new plants produced is very low.
