Thyme![]() What I know: � Thymus vulgaris. � Almost a requirement in herb gardens, also a good alternative to grass along low-traffic pathways. � A very versatile plant, numerous culinary, medicinal, cosmetic, and household uses. � Stays close to the ground, only a couple inches in height. � Don't really care about the soil as long as it drains. � Prefers full sun. � Propogate by cuttings, by layering, or by seeds. � Blooms with pink flowers around mid-summer. � May attract bees and wasps.
