The district |

The
Poggetto district is an old and nice part of Florence, grown around the
Cappuccini Church and convent (around 1100-1200 d.c.) wich occupies the top of
the little hill. In the nearby there are shops, supermarket, clubs and sport
centers. In the Auditorium Flog many famous rock bands perform the date of
their international tour. In the same park there are a tennis and a football
club, a restaurant and a summer cinema and swimming pool. Other fitness clubs
are near Careggi hospital. Walking
around Poggetto district, you can find both characteristic shops and
supermarket, clothes store and little boutiques, many bars and typical
grocery shops. The
Engineer university and the viale Morgagni scientific district are at walking
distance, and. the bus n. 4 arrives directly in Santa Maria Novella in 10/15
minutes. |
