Monthly Report Forms are due every single 10th of the month, regardless if school is out of session or if your club has done nothing.
Whenever you do ANYTHING be sure to add it to your monthly report form. By doing this you will get credit for what you've done and the New York District can estimate how much they've done so far.
But in order to get credit you must add documentation! I know you've all heard me say this over and over again, but documentation is a very vital part for the NYD. Without it we can't verify your projects and you don't get recognized for your achievements if you are lacking documentation.
Advocacy, add a copy of a letter you sent to the form. If you sent 2 different letters, remember to add a copy of each letter.
Public Relations- add EVERYTHING you do that is PR (this includes e-mail updates, minutes, tv clips, PA announcements, articles in a newsletter/newspaper, or anything else!)
K-Relations- Have someone write a letter saying you worked with a branch of K-Family. (Kiwanis, Builders Club, K Kids, Circle K, Aktion, etc... or even another Key Club).  Include signatures of an "official", your Kiwanis LtG or president, Circle K members, or even me! Make sure you add this letter to your MRF to get the hours in.
Governor's Project "Senior Citizens and improving the quality of their golden years"- THIS IS STRICTLY SERVICE HOURS!!! Have someone write a letter, similar to the one you had written for K-Family. If you worked at a nursing home, for example, have the director sign a letter for you! It's really not that hard and it gets you points! Our goal is 20,000 Service Hours, help us reach it with documentation!
World Wide Service Project- Iodine Deficiency Disorder- Anything you do to help this cause goes under here! Add the check!
International Projects and Programs-
This is easy! Simply photocopy the check you write out to the given charity, and add the copy to the MRF. Projects include March of DImes, Children's Miracle Network, and UNICEF.
New York District Projects- THIS IS STRICTLY FUNDRAISING!!! These include Kiwanis Pediatrict Trauma Center, Kamp Kiwanis, March of Dimes, amfAR (Aids Research), American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, St. Judes Children's Hospital, The Lupus Foundation of American, and local causes.  For more information on the individual projects click Here to go to the Divisional Project page. Like before, add a copy of a check. Our goal is $175,000. With documentation, we can reach this goal AND surpass it!
Major Emphasis Program- "Children- Their Future, Our Focus"- get a letter written for you saying you participated in an event!
Other Projects- If something you did doesn't fit one of those catergories, write down here how many hours or money your club raised, of course, with proper documentation.
K-Family Focus- "Kiwanis and Kids perectly fit for life togehter" Effective October 1st- Anything to do with fitness, add here!

Meetings- You don't need documentation for meetings, but if you have an agenda or minutes, add them to the Public Relations section of your monthly report form. Please be honest about the successfulness of your meetings, so we can better help you!

Signatures... DON'T FORGET THEM!
"Wait... so what if I have a project that fits more than one catergory?"
Don't worry about it... add it to all the applicable spots. For example, say you held a chicken barbecue with your sponsoring Kiwanis, profits going to the Lupus Foundation. On your monthly report for you would write down that you worked x amount of hours with your Kiwanis under K-Family Relations, raised x amount of dollars under District Projects, Lupus Foundation, and under Other projects put chicken barbecue. Then if you had publicized the event before, add the Public Relations things to the monthly report form as well!
February- no events scheduled yet... but work on Governor's PROJECT!!!

January- no divisional projects
