A Spring 2003 picture of the crazy tent Steve Rys set up, including Nick Lima's patriotic sheet on the left side. The tent is used to shield the equipment and crew from wind, rain, and solar glare. Later version of the tent, used at most games of the Tigers Baseball Network, included better covers, more support bars, and even a small 17 ft. flag pole attachment.
The first ever yearbook photo of the Tigers TV Crew. The club was not formed until February of 2003, so 2004, shown above, was the first year of eligibility for a yearbook page. Several crew members are missing from the shot, due to a field trip on the same day.
Visible here is the majority of the setup, including 3 out of the 4 cameras (though the crew fields 6 total) used the night of the 2004 THS Spring Music Concert.  The third camera is visible in the Tech Booth in the balcony. Club volunteers John Castanho and Dave Ballard are pictured right, both alumni of THS.
The Tigers TV Crew produces between 2 and 3 programs a week, year round, averaging a toal of over 45 productions a year. With all that running around for on location shooting, mobility is a key aspect. The (mostly stolen) crates, bins, and carts above, while sloppy in appearance, a critical in moving the mass amounts of equipment required for every broadcast.
Special recognition goes out from the whole crew to Mrs. Kathleen Almy, Chief Advisor to the Tigers TV Crew, for the tremendous amount of time and patience she gives to the club (TV Crew advisorships are not paid positions, and all time spent working with the students is completely voluntary). Her efforts make everything we do possible.  Thank you, Ms. Almy, for your continuing efforts in the furthering of our crew's involvement in the community. Also pictured is club founder and Advisor, Mr. Nicholas Lima, who, himself, puts in over a dozen hours per week, coordinating nearly every aspect of the club, from productions, crew availability and scheduling, to marketing, donations, and running the website.

The entire Tigers TV Crew thanks its advisors for their continuing efforts in attaining success and expansion for the club, the only one like it in the State of RI.
