Today, March 2, 2004, The press released the truth. The facts behind an investigation proving that there was no proof of mas destruction weapons in Iraq. This was the initial reason we sent troops to war, costing thousands of lives in the name of world peace! President George W. Bush and other political leaders have lied to our nation! They have made fools out of us. They played on our fears and created new laws to allow invasion of not only other countries, but also OUR lives.
These people have made a fortune off of the whole scandal! First, was the election of 2000. When one person had won the election for president, suddenly Bush's brother came up with "missing" balots. Second, was 9-11. Terrorist flew american planes into the trade center, our government had no way of knowing or stopping this from happening (SO THEY SAY). This led to...... Third, We declared war on terrorism and bombed the hell out of Afganistan. Personnally I don't see a victory from that. Suddenly it changed to...... Fourth, we declared war on Iraq. Reason given was "proof of Weapons of Mass Destruction". As the war was starting, and lives were already being taken, Our government realized that they would not be able to come up with any weapons of mass destuction. So they became very sly and changed the war to "Operation Iraqi Freedom". Changing the reason for being there to help Iraqi people become free from the horrible Sadam.
Now, here we are. Still losing lives in Iraq, spending Billions to rebuild it, AGAIN! After already spending Billions to destroy it. The Year 2004, the year of a new election. All of a sudden we find Sadam. Before the next Election they will probably find Usama too! |
