If you are replacing a previous tuner set, the LSR tuners should fit easily into the existing tuner holes. If you are performing an original installation, the recommended drill size for the tuner hole will be 25/64" (0.390). This drill diameter is the next fractional size up from 3/8" (0.375) the actual bushing size of the tuner.

Install one tuner at a time using FIG.2 and FIG.3 (next page) as a guide. Please note that the first two tuners closest to the string nut will utilize two of the taller spacers of the six spacers provided. The two taller spacers will be needed for Fender style headstocks. (Other headstock styles may require a different compliment of spacers to set tuner heights. Please consult Intertune directly concerning spacer heights available for other headstock styles).

1. Mount tuners with key locks and fastening nuts in the order shown in FIG.2. Do not install the wood screws at this time.
