Investigation
and Law Enforcement Toward 82 Registered Forest Area
in Dairi (1 hour Duration)
 This
shows investigation team activity established by chief
of Dairi District No. 188 dated on June 12, 2003.
This
documentary investigation, which started on July 21st,
2003 to August 8, 2003, recorded 468 families who
managing the 82 Registered forest area. The team
consists of Forestry Office, Forestry Police, Dairi
House Representatives and NGOs. The team found that
the rules for the forest preservation are not clear.
This is indicated by chief of the sub village Lorong
VIII Tanjung Beringin live in the protected area.
The
team also arrested illegal lodger and some people who
are not authorized to take anything from the forest.
