Environment
Campaign on Dairi Anniversary
 LSPL
and DMEM opened a stand on an exhibition as part
of NGOs participation on the celebration of 58th
Dairi Anniversary dated on 1st and 2nd
October 2003. Environment Concern was the theme of
the stand. The stand showed photos activities,
book of environment observation published by LSPL
and brochure of Pupils of 11 Elementary Schools
Visit conducted in cooperation with the Local
Government Dairi.
In
this exhibition, LSPL and DMEM held Story Writing
on Environment Competition for pupils aged 9 to 12
years old. The competition was held on the second
day of the exhibition joint by 26 participants
consist of 10 boys and 16 girls.
The
winner was Agustina (SD Inpres Teladan Sidikalang)
as 1st Winner, Hendra Chaniago (SD
Inpres Teladan Sidikalang) as 2nd
Winner and
(SD Inpres Teladan Sidikalang) as 3rd
Winner.
The
awards for the winners were cash amounts Rp
100.000, Rp 75.00.000 and Rp 50.000 and 1 book of
Environment Observation for each winner. Head of
Mining and Environment Office, LSPL – DMEM
handed the awards over the winners.
