Visit
Tour of the children to Panatapan Danau Toba held
on 20 September 2003 in cooperation with LSPL and
Dairi Local Government. 600 pupils of 11
Elementary Schools in Sub District of Tanjung
Beringin, Dairi participated on the visit tour
accompanied by their teachers.
One
of the tour programs held was Drawing Environment
per Group by representative of Dairi delegation
(pupils of Elementary and Junior High School) who
would be sent to Medan to join the Environment
Drawing Competition. In the program, mahogany also
was distributed to the pupils in order to build an
earlier involvement of the children to love and
preserve the environment.
In
this informal education to the children, Dairi
Local Government, LSPL and DMEM delivered that it
is now the time to put the children as Decision
Maker of The Future by good preparation handled by
the old generation. “We hope someday the
children will no longer only the heir of the
damaged of the environment”.
