Window Cutting

   After the necessary preparation, measuring we will proceed to the cutting of the side panel itself. I used Dremel to cut the side panel you could also use jigsaw if u wanted to, even hacksaw =).

   Cutting should be done in a very slow manner, you have to break once in a while otherwise the cutting disk would worn-out very fast or be broken. You should wear safety goggles in during this because the disk might be broken and fly into your delicate eyes!

   As I approach the rounded corners I switched to a smaller diameter disk. This would allow me to manage the tool better and to prevent the disk from breaking up. The cutting disks I am using are very fragile and wore out very fast you would need at least 10-20 pieces in this project. They sell around 5 pesos at dental supplies. I bought mine near CEU. After cutting the side panel cut the actylic with hacksaw or dremel.

After cutting i file the edges of the side panel to prevent injury because the exposed metal is very sharp and does not look good on my case. Be careful though it might cut your skin.

Drill the side panel and the acrylic put holes on all sides and corners the distance between the hole and the edge is 1/2". After that we could fit now acrylic in the side panel.
