Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some basic questions that might be asked. If your question is not answered here or at the forum, please e-mail me at
[email protected] so I can answer it. (as long as it has something to do with the LSAPC)
What is the LSAPC?
LSAPC stands for Livestock and Small Animals Petz Club and is a young organization with big potential. This is the place to show your livestock and small animals.
What is the difference between the groups Small Animals and Exotics?
Small Animals are rodents (or similar species) that are common in households. Exotics include all animals kept as pets that are not dogs, cats, or animals taken from the wild (aka cougars or tigers).
How many petz can I have pending registration?
As many as you like.
How many files can I post to be accepted?
A hexer's dream come true, they or you can post as many files up. Just check to see if the file has or hasn't been accepted yet.
Can I post ANY breed for acceptance?
Technically yes, but then breed acceptors will draw the line and not accept some of the breeds you post. Like a Zebra. Don't post a zebra... The only ones that will be accepted are breeds that people actually keep and is more well know as a pet (or farm animal). Though not all will be accepted and some might. For the most part non-livestock/small animals/exotics won't be.
Who can judge a specialty?
To be approved to hold and judge a specialty is pretty simple. You either need to be a current judge for the species or have real life experience with the breed or group. The reason for the approval for anyone wanting to hold a specialty is so that there are not two specialties at the same time for the same breed or group.
Why should I register my animals?
Any animal that you want to show in the LSAPC must be registered with the LSAPC. Once an animal is registered they may be shown. However it doesn't mean that the registrar messed up or the standard changed.
