must be saved through Jesus
Christ. Talmudic Judaism is doing everything it can to destroy this
"stuffiest center" of Christian dogma, and apparently has enlisted
the help of a substantial segment of Christendom.
Van Buren said, "Jewish people do not have to
come to the Father because they are already and always with him." If this
piece of philosophical sophistry is correct, why have tens of thousands of
early Christians and later missionaries suffered and died? According to the
unilateral resolutions now developing between ecumenist Christians and Jews,
Christian martyrdom is sheer stupidity. Paul and Athanasius, with their backs
cut raw by whips, must have been poor, misguided fools! They must have been masochists!
James the Just, Peter, Polycarp and a host of others chose to die rather than
deny Jesus Christ. Were they in error to believe that the Jews as well as
everyone else must repent and believe on Christ in order to be saved?
Dear reader — surely the thin wisp of a veil that
hides the real character of ultimate anti-Christ is now penetrable by the gaze
of truth! As we stated in last month's issue, every basic Bible doctrine is
torn asunder by the sophistry (the Jews call it "pil pul") of the liberals,
and many conservatives, evangelicals and fundamentalists are eating from their
hands.
"Repent — for the kingdom of heaven is at
hand!" exclaimed John the Baptist to the Jews. He was spiritual Elijah
"returned" to prepare the way of the Lord (Jesus Christ). (Mat.
17:10-13) But the Texas Conference of Churches questions John:
"Repent of what? The
Jews have the Sinaitic covenant which is eternal and they are already and
always with the Lord. What's all the fuss about, John?"
Perhaps the "mystery of iniquity" and the
practices of the "man of lawlessness" (II Thess. 2:3-12) of which
Paul wrote are now falling into place. Many believe that if the World Council
of Churches and Talmudic Judaism were to be granted their wishes now, they
would legislate against the preaching of the gospel as we Bible believers
practice it, and we would be fined and/or imprisoned for doing so. It is
already against the law in some countries to speak or write anything derogatory
of the Jews, even if it is correct history, and certain forces in the U.S. have
tried for years to ratify the Genocide Treaty which would for all practical
purposes prohibit the preaching of the gospel of Christ.
Two people stood on a railroad track. One of them saw
a train about two blocks away hurtling toward them at 90 miles an hour. He
yelled to the other: "A train is coming! Let's get off the tracks or we'll
be killed!" Whereupon his companion retorted: "What train?"
The hour is late — very late! We .harbor no illusions
that we're going to convert great numbers of people to our point of view. Like
the blinded one on the railroad track, millions are still naively asking:
"What train?" But we believe that all those whose hearts throb with
correct motives and who will dare to invite the Lord to show them the way, will
in great measure see the path we walk. May the love of God in Christ constrain
us all to turn and be healed! Amen.
