| November Meeting: Is scheduled for December 7, 2003 at 4 p.m. in the Private Dining Room of the Campus Center. From there we will have a private reception to say goodbye to our advisor Russell Keevy. After the reception those who have volunteered for the KCPTV phone bank telephone will leave to arrive at KCPT at 6pm. KCPTV Phone Telehon: Thanks to 16 of our members, officers, and guests who have volunteered to help with the telethon. More information will be forth coming after the event. The event will be held at the KCPTV studio at 6pm on December 7, 2003. The event will run from 6pm until around 10:30pm. The address for this event is: 125 East 31st Street Kansas City, Mo 64108. For those unfamiliar with the area, just look for the large multicolored tower in the area, and that is exactly where the studio is located. If anyone would like further information you may contact Kim Jarquio, or call KCPT for further information at: 816-756-3580, or e-mail them at [email protected] For those who would like to voluteer, or need to cancel please contact Kim immediately so that she can make sure we have the amount needed for this event, as there is a requested amount we need to make the telehon work well. Again, thanks to those who have voluteered and I look forward to seeing you all there. Editor's Apologies: For those who are not aware, I have injured my back, and the doctor has assured me that it will take a long time to heal, which won't be until near the middle of January if the diagnosis is correct. This will be going out late, and for that I offer humble apologies, as it is difficult at times to sit up for any length of time. Over the period of the holidays I shall do my best to get caught up and keep you all informed of what is going to be occuring soon. Thanks, Lois Robbins V.P. of Public Relations |
