Hee hee... it's two days after my birthday, and a day after I've been to Heather and Kevin's for my birthday dinner that fell the day after my birthday at my request. It's one of our weekly dinner get-togethers... we all get together, everyone cooks something for dinner, and then we play 'choose your own advneture' type games (Betrayal at House on Haunted Hill), multiplayer board game-like games (Game of Thrones), and Kevin, Heather, Heather, and Thomas play Magic: the Gathering card game. Basically... we all get to hang out with each other once a week, guaranteed. It's really nice. (By the way... yes, for those of you wondering... I don't play Magic, but I've been here over a year now, could probably explain the rules to you easily, and could likely play the game with efficiency... and no, I've not actually played - excluding the time that I didn't know anything about the game, I think it was August 2004 with Brent and Brian at the cabin. Other than that though... yep... I live with two 'Magic' players, and am good friends with another two... I hear about the cards all the time...) Anywho, Kevin headed out for a smoke... and came running back in, telling all of us to come out. I grabbed my camera, per normal lately, and headed out with the group. It was flurrying!! It was sooo pretty. And these are the resulting pictures. Hope you enjoy them!! 
I got this bright Idea that I was going to take pictures of the snow... it lit up the atmosphere... making the world look like it was raining diamonds. That doesn't show in the pictures, but Heather Davis got me to keep taking pictures... resulting in the next 2. 
This would be the second picture. 
And... this is the third... I think out of the 3 that came out well enough to post... this is the best one. 
I am one of those annoying ass people who feels the need to take 'real life' shots... meaning that I just start snapping the camera, and my friends yell good naturedly for not letting them know I was taking pictures. 
Okay... this is obviously posed... but this is two of my 3 or 4 Heathers... my sister, and one of my best friends... I swear... I'm being taken over by Heathers!! I love this pic though. 
And then of course... I had a take a picture of the guys... the only one missing from that photo is Dan... and he doesn't smoke, so he wasn't in the 'smokers' area'... he was hanging out with the rest of us. 
Kevin, Thomas, and his wife/my sister Heather... don't know what else to say other than that. 
Me and my sister... she gave free smacks of my butt after that... and I couldn't stop it!! But how can I stay mad at such a great person? Answer: Just couldn't, not with all the snow around, lol. 
Heather and I decided that we wanted 'Dan-Dan-the-Petco-man' in a picture... somehow, I notice that this is the only one outside that he is in, and I have no clue how that happened. And, for the record, he no longer works at PETCO (neither do I), but the nickname stuck somehow. 
Kevin's face didn't turn out well in this pic... Thomas's didn't either, if I remember right, so I decide to make it just the three of us in a shot... lords and ladies, I sure look funny when I am laughing and trying not to fall!! 
Of course... what would a good snowy night be without a group shot? I think it this the only group shot of the five of us that I have... I wish I could have gotten Dan in there... maybe eventually we'll be able to get the six of us in one pic... who knows? 
We went back inside, and I still had the camera out... Dan decided he was a GQ model here... lol!
