Christmas morning was great!! We didn't even get up until 11am (a first for me!!), and then we didn't open gifts until Mommy, me, Thomas, and Heather had made our first cup of tea (for inquiring minds, the only kind of tea that I like is berry-flavored). The kids opened their stockings while they were waiting... it kept them quiet and occupied. We took our time opening gifts, and Thomas took pictures. Mommy made cinnamon rolls to hold us over until she could get the sausage gravy made. She let me help (I know, I sound like a little kid here, but I can't help it... I love learning how to make things from scratch!), and we just watched movies most of the day until I had to go over to Kevin and Heather's to let their ferrets out. It was a good, relaxed Christmas. I rather liked it. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Lexi and Heather in front of the tree...
Chandler and his race cars I got him, and Lexi with her California Barbie.
Now, Heather and Thomas saw this hat and couldn't resist getting it for Mommy... and you know when you get a hat, you have to model it.
Chandler and his purple football (who gives a boy a purple football??), Lexi with, I think, her Barbie movie, and I haven't got the foggiest clue what Heather is holding.
Lexi with 'Belle', Heather unwrapping another gift... I believe it was her 'Werther's Original' candy she asked for.
This has got to be one of the worst pictures of me in a while... I have the phone glued to my hip, lol, and strange hair and a funky smile. But that is Woodstock that Grandma Judy and Grandpa Bill got me. The proceeds for him went for, I believe, the Children's Hospital.
And then you have the ever-famous lint and fur remover that has saved my life more times than I can count since receiving it from 'Santa', according to the wrapping label.
Lexi with her Don't Break The Ice, Chandler unwrapping Spiderman, and Heather doling out gifts like a good little elf, lol. (Please don't kill me when you read that, Heather!)
Chandler and Spiderman unwrapped and posing for the camera, half of Lexi and 'Kim Possible'. (I think Thomas was focusing on Chandler, because the next shot is focused on Lexi.)
Lexi full and in color and her 'Kim Possible' doll. Hope you enjoyed the Christmas pictures... |
