Shall I say “I Love You”?

 

I feel like a fool,

Wanting so much to touch you,

Feel you, hold you in my arms.

You’re just a smile away, yet

When we’re all alone in the room

I feel my body freeze, I can’t move.

 

What is it in you?

I long so much to see you, be with you,

Til eternity pass us by.

But when you look at me,

I’m afraid that you’ll see through me and know

That I wanna share with you a lifetime.

 

I know it’s so wrong,

But my heart won’t listen,

And it has gone blind it can see no reason.

I’m putting my feelings on hold,

But I don’t really know,

Just how long I can keep my self-control.

 

Shall I let you know?

Shall I let my feelings show,

Let it flow, without reserve?

But what if in return,

You reject and  shun me away? Oh I,

I will surely be hurt.

 

Shall I take a chance?

What if you do not feel the way I do?

Can we at least still be friends?

Coz it will strike me hard if you’ll say no,

But if that’ll be your wish,

Then I will have to let you go.
