| Chapter 12 *The next day* Justin had let me come to the audition so I could check out the dancers for myself. �And next up we have Daisy Chrysee.� The guys� choreographer, Randy, said. It was the same Daisy as I�d talked to the day before. She did a dance she�d practiced for the song �Dirty Pop�, and then finished with a smile. While she was dancing, I whispered to Justin that I thought she was the best so far. I wasn�t even lying - she had it all. She had the rhythm, the moves and she was generally just really great. Justin smiled to me and nodded. All in all, 10 girls had been carefully handpicked and had to audition, even though they only needed 5. After all the girls had auditioned, the guys had to pick out 5 together with Randy. I placed all my votes, which was only one by the way, on Daisy. JC voted for Mikaela Johnson, who was great too, but she missed what Daisy had; charm. Besides, Mikaela just seemed to be there, �cause they were famous, so I told JC off. �JC, you just vote for Mikaela, �cause she�s great looking and �cause you haven�t had any in a while.� I said and grinned. Justin burst out in laughter so hard, while looking at Josh. Josh looked shocked at me. �Ann!� He said, but then started laughing himself. Eventually, we were all laughing and Josh agreed with me that the reason he wanted Mikaela to be one of the dancers was mainly because of that. �But you can�t vote for her just because of that. And I�m sure she�ll give you some anyway, �cause she kept staring at you the whole time during her dance, so my guess is that she�s a groupie.� I said and shrugged. Chris nodded. �I think Ann�s right.� He said. �Of course I am! The woman�s always right!� I said with a grin and was then attacked by Justin, who started tickling me. �Aaawwz, look at those two. So in love. Young love is one of the most beautiful things. Sniff!� Josh said. I finally managed to get Justin off me and then turned my attention to Josh. �Whatever, Joshy.� I said and laughed at him. *Later* �Daisy!� I yelled, as I walked into the room where the ten contestants were, waiting for the answer on who was in and who was out. �Yes?� She said, as she stood up. �You�re in, girl, way to go!� I said and smiled. �Oh my god, really???� She exclaimed, jumping up and down. �Yep!� I said and smiled. �That�s so great, thanks so much!� She said and then hugged me. �What about the rest of us?� Kelly Spade, a snotty blonde with a nasty attitude said. �I don�t know, sorry. I just know Daisy�s is in. Randy will be inhere in a few to tell ya.� I said, shrugging. �Hrmpf!� Kelly said and turned away from me. I just rolled my eyes at her. �Talk about being blonde.� Daisy said. I laughed. �Yeah, hahaha, you go, girl!� I said and winked. �Anyway, I�ll just get back in and hear who they also picked, okay? I just wanted to tell you the good news first.� I said. �Sure.� Daisy smiled. I went back out in the hall and bumped into Randy there. �So? Who else did ya pick?� I asked. �Well, besides from your gal pal Daisy, we picked Dana Richards, Christine Robertson, Tamara Sterling and Brittany Moore.� Randy said, looking at the names he had on his list. �Phew, I�m so glad you didn�t chose Kelly Spade.� I said. �Kelly Spade?! You gotta be kidding, girl! She had the worst attitude.� Randy said. �I know, that�s why I said I am glad you didn�t chose her.� I said and smiled. �Not a chance we�d do that. Well, maybe JC would� but ya know why.� Randy said and grinned. I laughed. �Yeah, I know. Silicon Valley.� I said, talking about her breasts. �Exactly! Well, girl, I�m gonna go tell them the news now. See ya later.� Randy said and walked in. I walked back to the studio, but the guys weren�t there, so I walked into the conference room. Josh was the only one in there, studying lyrics for the next album. �Hey. Where�s the rest?� I asked. �Out to lunch. Justin tried to find you, but he couldn�t. I�m just checking out these, �cause it seems as if we�re missing something in this song.� He said, while chewing on an apple. �I know, I was in talking to Daisy and then Randy. What song is it?� I asked, as I plopped down next to him on the big couch. �This one.� He said, pointing at a song named �You�. �Let me see.� I said as I reached out for the paper. I studied the lyrics and found the part that bothered him. �It�s this bit, isn�t it?� I said, pointing. �Exactly! The rest of the guys think it sounds great, but I feel there�s something missing.� Josh said, still eating his apple. �Why don�t you write down what you just said?� I asked. �What?� Josh asked. I laughed. �You! Instead of writing this, write down what you just said. You can change it to �but I feel there�s something missing in my heart�, maybe? Get it?� I asked with a smile. �Ah, Annie, you�re brilliant, thanks so much!� Josh said as he kissed my cheek and immediately wrote down what I�d just said. �Hehe, thanks, I try.� I said. Josh smiled to me. �Well, lunch time now. Wanna go with me? Since your little boyfriend-baby isn�t here.� Josh mocked. �Josh!!� I laughed as we both stood up. Josh grinned. �What? It�s the truth.
