Message from LP about 9/11 disasters:
"While we weren't in the country on September 11, we're extremely touched and strengthened by the outpouring of support we received from fans in Europe. The horror of the tragedy reaches far beyond the United States, and we've witnessed this first hand."

Upon returning home, Linkin Park performed at San Diego radio station KIOZ's annual concert. The band donated $75,000 from the September 28th event to the American Red Cross. "We felt that raising money for the Red Cross was a small way we could contribute to the relief effort. If you're in a position to help, please make a donation to the American Red Cross at 1-800-HELP-NOW, or go to helping.org to check out a number of other organizations aiding those in need. If you can't donate money, please help in other ways - spread peace and tolerance to everyone in your life. It makes a difference
