2005-TravelMaster
2005 was our first real year of full time RVing. The Texas Coastal Bend (Jan-Mar) was rest and recuperation. Larry had been trying to work while recovering from an auto accident. After some gains, he had plateaued, then became weaker.

We had to attend a wedding at Niagra Falls, and then on to South Dakota (Memorial Day) then to West Yellowstone MT after Independence Day. West Yellowstone was our first workamping assignment.
The Big Tree of Lamar is estimated to be over 2000 years old. It can be found in Goose Island State Park and is well worth a visit. This is a portion of the old Natchez Trace used in the early 1800's.

Very Peaceful.
The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 400 mile long national park following the old Natchez Trace from Nashville TN to Natchez MS. There is no commercial traffic and a 55 MPH speed limit on the peaceful 2 lane road with many things to see and explore. Perfect for taking with an RV
The Niagara River, about 10 miles above the FALLS and at the campground where we stayed.
Sheep Mountain Table is in the south unit near the town of Scenic.
No small resolution pictures do justice to Niagara Falls.
A composite of many pictures showing both Falls.
This picture was taken from an overlook on Iron Mtn Road at an extreme distance.
The Badlands of South Dakota are wonderfully strange. Sheep Mountain Table is off the beaten path and a chance to see things from another angle. You need high ground clearance to travel the top of the table, but most cars and trucks can make it to this section on the south rim.
The Black Hills Area is one of our favorite places. Click on the unusual angle of Mt. Rushmore to see pictures from this area and to see why we came
Across Wyoming. Click to see the sights going from The Black Hills to Yellowstone.
We spent most of July and all of August in the vicinity of Yellowstone National Park. Click on the picture to enter that wonderland.
