The best place to base for a full time RVer may be Rush No More campground in Sturgis. The fees are reasonable, and the park and owners are very plesant.

| We became South Dakota "residents" in June of 2005. We love the Black Hills area, including the Badlands and neighboring sections of Wyoming, such as Devils Tower. | Custer State Park. The wildlife loop and gravel roads from it are a great place to see wildlife. This buffalo and calf were part of a large herd hear one of the gravel roads. | ||||||||||||||||
| Crazy Horse monument is coming along. Note the preparations on the horse's head. It is the next to be carved. The face is great. | ||||||||||||||||

| Custer State Park. This narrow canyon was on the Little Devils Tower trail. The trail was extremely steep -- 65 degress for quite a while -- even though it was only 3 miles round trip. | ||||||||||||||||
