If there's snow outside or it's a rainy day, the next best thing to playing golf is reading a great golf book! We've shared some of our favorites below or your can click on the link on the right and we'll take you to Amazon.com's which has an awesome selection of golf reading.

Good Bounces & Bad Lies Good Bounces & Bad Lies - Ben Wright
Former CBS golf analyst Ben Wright was always popular for his entertaining wit. In his autobiography Wright recounts many tales, from how he fell in love with the sport to his on air rivalry with Gary McCord:

"In 1970, no doubt amidst of field that must have been remarkably weak, he won the NCAA Division II golf championship... McCord joined the PGA tour in 1973. In 26 years playing on the regular PGA Tour, he never won more than $60,000 in a single season and never finished higher than 59th on the Tour money list. In fact, his career earnings, over 26 regular Tour seasons at this writing, have yet to top the million-dollar mark."

An amusing, and fascinating recollection of the experiences of a great character with some fantastic stories about the players on the tour, and his broadcast colleagues. [Buy Online]

Dave Pelz's Putting Bible Dave Pelz's Putting Bible - Dave Pelz
Think about this... par 3 (on in 1 & 2 putt), par 4 (on in 2 & 2 putt), par 5 (on in 3 & 2 putt). Let's do the math - 25% of your shots should be off the tee, 25% from the fairway (bunker, woods, long grass, ooops), and 50% should be from the green! So why are you spending 80% of your practice time hitting that driver off the tee, 15% hitting irons, 4% practicing in the sand, and 1% practicing your putting????

Next thing to think about... do you even know how to practice your putting? How about some help reading the greens - you might already know about balls wanting to roll towards water but how does wind or shade affect how the ball rolls? Not convinced yet? Well reading this book will also help you beat your kids at the local Putt Putt! [Buy Online]

Ben Hogan's Five Lessons : The Modern Fundamentals of Golf Ben Hogan's Five Lessons : The Modern Fundamentals of Golf - Ben Hogan
You have this book already right? Come on, don't disappoint me, this is required reading. Great wisdom from one of the greatest golfers the world has ever seen: "The average golfer is entirely capable of building a repeating swing and breaking 80.". Believe me... if Ben Hogan says you can do it then YOU CAN DO IT! [Buy Online]
